Te Ngahere is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all our employees, sub-contractors, clients and visitors.

Through continually complying with the provisions of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) legislation that apply to the companies operations, we recognise that sound OSH practices are an essential component of business management.

Te Ngahere's Health and Safety Manual 2005 outlines the company's policies and procedures for OSH issues. Te Ngahere's Hazard Identification Manual 2005 outlines all hazards that have been identified in the workplace and provides control actions.

Site-specific hazard identification forms identify hazards onsite and how best to avoid, remedy and mitigate them.

All staff receive OSH training from Te Ngahere's Health and Safety Representative Erin Patterson. Erin is qualified in accident reporting and investigation practices.
