Brad joined Te Ngahere in 1998, having just returned to New Zealand from a long OE. Whilst overseas he was involved with ecological restoration programmes in British Columbia. In 1999 he managed the restoration planting of 22,000 trees at Harbour View Lowland Reserve, Te Atatu.

Brad holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Tourism, and has a background and qualifications in management and engineering. He is currently studying Environmental Management part time at the University of Auckland at a Masters level. He also holds a National Certificate in Agrichemical Application.

Brad led the ecological restoration division until January 2006 when he moved to Nelson to establish a new branch of Te Ngahere. The Nelson Branch is a regional base supporting all Te Ngahere’s services, with a focus on ecological restoration. As the Branch Manager, Brad is developing networks and relationships to facilitate ecological restoration in the South Island.

In his spare time Brad enjoys snow sports, tramping and travelling.
