Gabriel joined Te Ngahere in April 2004, having worked previously in travel consulting and account management for American Express.
Gabriel has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Human Resource Management and French.
At Te Ngahere he splits his time between ecological
restoration work with the remote locations team, and developing the human resources projects of Te Ngahere. In recent months a
structured training programme has been developed, where each member of staff now participates in
the Performance Review and Development Programme.
Gabriel's experience with NZ plant ecology stems from a passion for the outdoors where he spends
his spare time mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. He also has an active interest in the
Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Society and is regularly involved with Auckland Mountain Bike Club
track building projects.
