Rodney joined Te Ngahere in 1998 after graduating from Lincoln University, with a Bachelor in Resource Studies,
majoring in Forest Ecology and Nature Conservation. With extensive experience in the fields of restoration ecology
and indigenous forest monitoring, Rodney brings a unique balance of technical knowledge and practical experience to
his position with Te Ngahere.
In his part-time work for Te Ngahere, Rodney is responsible for developing and overseeing
the planning and consultancy work Te Ngahere undertakes in relation to ecological restoration projects. He is also responsible
for providing ongoing technical input into Te Ngahere's operational restoration contracts.
Outside Te Ngahere,
Rodney undertakes project specific biodiversity planning work for his business Scrub Consultants.
