Situated in the A.H.Reed Memorial Kauri Park, three kilometres northeast of Whangarei, the canopy walkway, designed by Richardson Stevens Consultants, functions as a unique walkway link across a forested valley.

Reaching a maximum height of 13 metres above the Paranui Stream, the walkway stretches for 72 metres from bank to bank, connecting two existing walking tracks.
