Meet the Team:
Gabriel Daniels, Operations Manager, Ecological Restoration

Gabriel has seven years experience in ecological restoration, working at Te Ngahere since 2004 in roles from Field Worker, Team Leader, Contract Manager to now in his current position as Operations Manager. Gabriel has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Human Resource Management and French.

At Te Ngahere, in the role of Operations Manager, he leads all ecological restoration contracts; including meeting with and reporting regularly to clients, engaging third parties for the sourcing and delivery of supplies, including plants, and working with the Field Supervisors to ensure our work is delivered to the expected high standard, on time and to budget. Gabriel is certified as a Registered Chemical Applicator by the NZ Agrichemical Education Trust.

Gabriel's experience with conservation stems from a passion for the outdoors, where he spends his spare time mountain biking, skiing, running and swimming. He also has an active interest in the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary Society and is a member of Auckland Mountain Bike Club.
